Images and Editing Data

When you select an image in the tool, it is processed locally in your browser to preview the pan and zoom effect and to export the video. The core editing and export workflow does not upload your image to our application servers.

The app decodes your image, renders it on a canvas, and creates the exported video in the browser before offering it as a download. Your image, regions, and timing settings are kept in browser memory and are cleared when the page is refreshed or closed.

Sign-In Information

You can use the tool without signing in. If you choose to sign in with Google, the server verifies your Google ID token and creates a secure session cookie.

On the server, we store only your Google subject ID ("sub") and the date your premium access expires. We do not store your name, email address, or avatar on the server.

On your device, the app stores basic profile details (name, email, avatar, and Google subject ID) in localStorage to keep you signed in between page refreshes. You can remove this data by signing out or clearing browser storage.

Purchases and Subscription Data

If you purchase a day pass or monthly subscription, payment processing is handled by our payment provider, Creem. We do not store your payment card details.

We receive purchase and subscription events from Creem so we can enable premium access. We store your premium expiration date and a Creem customer ID to support billing portal access and subscription management.

Cookies and Local Storage

The app uses secure, HTTP-only cookies to keep your server session active and to cache premium access checks. The session cookie expires after seven days, and the access cache cookie expires after 30 minutes.

The app also uses localStorage to remember your signed-in profile and to track the daily free-export count on this device. You can clear localStorage in your browser settings.

File Names and Downloads

The app uses the name of your selected image file to generate the default name for the exported video. This file name is used in the browser and for the download prompt. It is not sent to our application servers by the tool itself.

Hosting and Server Logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request times, and server logs needed to deliver the website files and API responses.

Third-Party Services

The site uses Google Identity Services for sign-in and Google Fonts for typography. These services may collect or set cookies according to their own policies.

Purchases and subscription management are handled by Creem. When you buy a plan or open the customer portal, your browser communicates with Creem to complete those actions.

Data Retention

We retain your premium access record for as long as needed to provide access, support billing and support requests, and meet legal obligations. Session and access cookies expire automatically. Local storage remains until you clear it or sign out.

Your Choices

You can use the tool without signing in. If you do sign in, you can sign out at any time to clear the stored profile details on this device. You can also clear browser cookies and localStorage to remove stored data.

Children's Privacy

Image Pan Zoom is a general-purpose image tool and is not directed to children.

Changes to This Policy

If the site changes how it handles data, storage, analytics, accounts, or uploads, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes.
